We provide a caring, supportive online environment for students with diverse learning needs, including those managing emotional wellbeing, chronic illness, or other specialised needs. Our chaplains and pastoral team work closely with students to help them thrive in a safe, inclusive, and personalised learning space.
Swanonline caters to students living remotely or frequently on the move—such as elite athletes, rural residents, or those temporarily travelling. We bring world-class education to students anywhere, so they can stay on track academically without compromising their goals or commitments.
This program helps Year 11 and 12 students achieve their WACE and via a General or ATAR pathway goals. It offers flexible learning, with Vocational Education and Training (VET) and workplace opportunities designed to prepare students for life beyond school. Our senior years still enjoy the support from our chaplains, teaching staff and learning support workers where needed.
Students enrolling with Swanonline must meet specific requirements and have supporting documentation to support their application.

Swanonline has over 25 staff members including highly skilled Christian teachers. We provide live lessons and module lessons within the week. Live teachers conduct sessions via Zoom where students can interact in real-time, enhancing the learning experience with direct support and feedback. The live lessons are recorded and utilized to allow students to catch up on any missed lessons.
Yes, Swanonline boasts a qualified academic team that includes subject specialists and support staff dedicated to delivering a comprehensive educational experience and supporting student achievement. Each subject is overseen by the Head of Department, Director of Acadmics at the main campus and the Director of Swanonline.
Yes, Swanonline offers ATAR courses which are designed to meet university entrance requirements, providing students with the opportunity to pursue tertiary education. Furthermore, we deliver the Certificate 4 in Business.

Swanonline prides itself on its structured timetable, believing teenagers need structure, system and relationships. However, with this in mind we also acknowledge that for some people, flexibility is required. For course flexibility, communication with the Director of Swanonline is required. This is important for our elite sport students and students requiring regular specialist or psychologist appointments.
Yes, students at Swanonline can easily access teachers through live classes, scheduled consultations, and via email for support and guidance. Furthermore, Swanonlines head office is available Monday to Friday with numerous teachers, support workers, and Engagment teachers available for conversation.
Unfortunately, Swanonline is a full-time program and cannot offer part on campus and part online. With this in mind, it is possible for our online students to partake in extra curricular activities online, such as Cadets, sport carnivals, Year 12 Ball, camps, choirs and music lessons. Please chat to our office staff regarding these options.
No, students of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome at Swanonline. The school upholds Christian values but does not require students to be Christian to enrol.
Yes, religious studies (we call this class Christian Living) is part of the curriculum at Swanonline, reflecting the Christian ethos of Swan Christian College. These courses are designed to support students’ spiritual growth and understanding of Christian values. It is not a requirement to be a Christian to attend our school, however, all Swan Christian Education Association schools are required to teach Christian Living classes.
While Swanonline primarily operates as an online school, it is an integral part of Swan Christian College, which has a physical campus in the Swan Valley of Perth, Western Australia. This online ‘hub’ is located at the Swan Christian Education Association (SCEA) head office in Midland, WA – 1 Padbury Terrace Midland.
For Year 11 and 12 students at Swanonline, the course offerings are structured to accommodate a variety of academic and career pathways.
